OTT platform Wavve has named 14-year-old golf prodigy Kim Seo-ah, known as the “teenage long-hitter,” as its new brand ambassador. The announcement was made on May 13, highlighting Kim’s rapid rise in the KLPGA Tour.

Kim, a second-year student at Shinseong Middle School, gained widespread attention after competing as an invited player in two KLPGA events this year: The Siena Open and the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship. She showcased remarkable power with drives exceeding 300 yards, finishing tied for fourth place at The Siena Open and later making a hole-in-one during the third round of the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship. That ace set a record as the youngest in KLPGA history, at 14 years, 3 months, and 23 days.
As part of the ambassadorship, Wavve will feature Kim’s brand logo on her uniform for on-course exposure and produce daily lifestyle content such as “Morning Commute” and “After Work” series for its Wavve golf YouTube channel, aiming to strengthen engagement with golf fans. To celebrate the partnership, Wavve plans to hold a fan event offering giveaways including a golf umbrella signed by Kim.
Additionally, Wavve has secured digital broadcasting rights for both the KLPGA and KPGA Tours this season, becoming the first domestic platform to stream live sports using Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies.
