Stephon Castle is confident the San Antonio Spurs can bounce back from their Game 4 loss and protect home court in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite a tough result largely shaped by Victor Wembanyama’s early ejection after an elbow to Naz Reid’s head, the Spurs are staying level-headed.
Castle emphasized the team’s mindset following the defeat: “Protect home court. We have nothing but confidence ahead of every game. Being on our home floor boosts that a little bit. Sense of urgency is the highest it’s been in the Playoffs. 2-2, just gotta protect home court.”
The series now returns to San Antonio tied 2-2, making Game 5 a pivotal contest. Wembanyama’s mistake limited him to 12 minutes in Game 4, but the Spurs are not dwelling on the setback. Castle and his teammates are focused on leveraging home advantage and maintaining urgency as they aim to secure a crucial win.
